Our intention was to create a store that has a contemporary relevance while being rooted through its materiality. The palette of wood, terrazzo, rattan, cane and pigmented jali helps in creating an identity that speaks to the traditional craftmanship of the subcontinent. These materials help in creating experiences that are rich in tactility and visual textures.

The design team worked closely with the team at Orient retail helping them to consolidate a more holistic narrative around the brand and develop a customer experience across different tangible and non-tangible platforms.
